Also causing a buzz on Google's social network is the software giant's NFC (Near Field Communication) cashless payment system, Google Wallet. On Wednesday Google released a cloud-based version of Google Wallet (formerly Google Checkout) which now allows people to use the system to shop in stores and online. The cloud-based version supports credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover and will compete with other forms of online payment systems such as Paypal. ??
